Oh how I love it when...

...I pour myself a big bowl of cereal and sticking straight up atop my spoonful of granola is a giant strand of Chumley fur. Thankfully I saw it before I swallowed - where it would have remain lodged in my esophagus the rest of the day - but usually I'm not so lucky. That's the last time I wear fleece when eating out of the box. Perhaps it's time to give Chum a hair cut. I'm thinking he might look smashing in this style. (that poor cat looks like he's trying to give the middle paw pad.)

I bet he loves this cut, it helps him find his talliwacker. :)

I feel your pain when it comes to cat hair.. I have a grayish white Persian.. Not my friend right now... Her hair is EVERYWHERE now that the house is in "show" mode.. Thanks for the heads up on St. Joseph. I'm burying him this weekend, so to speak!! Keep your fingers crossed!!

My friend Michelle gives her cat the "lion" cut every spring. Short everywhere except for the mane around the face, tip of the tail and paws. Soooo cute!

BUT, then you'd be thought of as one of those pet owners who shave their poodles' asses with pom-pom furballs on the rump. Yuck!

anon: I almost wet myself when I read your comment. I had to share it with Tom. Talliwacker??? I LOVE that word. I think it's my new favorite. I will definitely be using it on blog posts!! THANK YOU!

merlot: Good luck with the statue! You have to keep me updated. I know it's such a tough time to sell with the economy right now but I'm sure you just want to try all you can to help shorten the selling process. Things just seem to have a way of happening at the right time so don't get discouraged if it doesn't sell right away. My fingers are crossed for you too.

Kbl: You must post pics of the lion cut now that Spring is here. Maybe Michelle's cat can do a guest blog spot on your blog! Chumley has stated that he's going to start blogging again so we'll be sharing my site. Fun.

suz: Thanks for your complimentary comment! I love your icon pic too. Makes me thirsty.
