As we were scrolling through the guide on the tv trying to decide what to watch, I say "Oh put on John and Kate plus 8!" Tom says, "Is that the show with 18,000 kids?" I say "Yes", he says "No thanks" and heads up to bed.
*update* I've just watched 4 episodes of this show in a row and I'm seriously having heart palpitations.

I love the show. My girls and I watch it together all the time.
The kids are all adorable except for the oldest girl Maddy.
I would seriously leave her at a mall if I could.

Laura, believe it or not, I have a cousin who has 8 kids. I have no idea how she maintains her sanity, but she is blissfully happy.
As far as TV shows, we are the same way in my house.... all the "good" shows Hubster will not watch with me.... he wants to watch crap like "How It's Made", "Deadliest Catch" and silly stuff like that. (Plus all that stupid motor-head TV.... "Overhaulin", "American Chopper", etc.) Talk about boring.
My sister is convinced that Jonathan and I are as stressed out as the parents on that show. But we only have two. Evan counts for at least seven kids, though.
I was speaking to a client once and she said her daughter had 14 kids and would keep taking what the good Lord gave her, I said "I hope the good Lord is giving valium"...I couldnt do it.
