Oh My God

My thoughts and prayer go out to everyone affected by this crash. I hope people can get out safely.

The news just said the pilot may have hit a flock of geese and that may have caused the accident???

YAY!!! They just said all the passengers have made it out of the plane safely. Could you even imagine if you had a loved one on that flight??? They must be so happy to know everyone is ok.

Thank God.

I know.... when I heard the breaking news on the radio, my heart just sank. I thought of the facts: water landing, sub freezing temps, crowded plane... didn't sound good.

Truly, the pilot and crew should be commended for the GREAT job they did in bringing the plane down smoothly, keeping everyone calm, and getting everyone out quickly and as smoothly as possible. MIRACULOUS that no one died, or was seriously injured!!

This freaked me out when I saw it on the news just moments ago. You are always great about posting things that we all need to stop and think about. I am definitely a popsickle today ... still in my jammies : )

I haven't seen the news footage about this yet, but on my drive home, the news guy on the radio mentioned it. I can NOT believe everyone made it off safely. That is so awesome. I'm anxious to watch the 6:00 news for the whole story.

Isn't that miraculous? I am so thankful for the pilot's skill and the response of the boats on the river. Just wonderful news, that people can actually make it out of an airplane crash alive!
