An earthquake in Seattle

Ummm, I thought we'd be rid of these after leaving California for at least a little while.

Seattle Earthquake.

It sounded like the garbage truck but it wasn't garbage day. This is nuts. The world is coming to an end.

Crazy...I've never been in an earthquake before. I'm from the east coast where the ground isn't supposed to shake. I didn't feel it this morning either. Woke up to the news though! Apparently there's supposed to be a big "Cascadia" earthquake here some day...I've seen the Discovery Channel version of it. Supposed to start in the Cascade fault off the coast of Washington and create a tidal wave so big it will topple the Space Needle and the earthquake will go on for 5 minutes which will obliterate most of Pioneer Square and older buildings because of the shaking. I saw this special right before moving here...I want to go back to the land that doesn't move. :)

Very scary! I'm glad nobody was hurt! Hopefully it doesn't happen again.

I saw a similar special on the Weather Channel right when we found out we were moving here. I made Tom watch the entire thing and begged and begged and BEGGED for us to stay in California. He said there are still earthquakes in California too. But I think if we're going to end up in a pile of rubble, I'd rather perish under a sunny sky with a smile on my face.

It feels like there are earthquakes everywhere these days...

It's falling hail here, near Lisbon (Portugal) and it's so heavy that it sounds like the roof is gonna fall on top of me!

And it's coooooold...

No earthquakes though.
