Who does Depression Hurt?

Everyone.

Including the Dog.

Poor Wrigs is miserable. He refuses to go outside unless I walk/drag him which is not a very good idea considering how slick it is from this nonstop rain. He misses going to the park, chasing his balls and romping around in the dry grass with his pals. And sure as sh*t,
So. Do. I.

But it makes me more upset to see him sad.

He just sits by the window and watches the rain...

I walked away from the computer for a while and when I came back this was playing. Looks like Wrigs needs the silly pills too.

awww that makes me so sad. I am sorry you both are miserable. I just don't know the feeling myself. I am weird and I like being in the house, but then again, I enjoy going out for a few minutes to soak up some Vitamin D. too.
Chin up....Get out your sun lamp thingy and share.

These depression commercials sure don't help. They make me sad everytime. I figured your Mom was here in town. It's sad that you couldn't make it, the weather here wouldn't have helped lift your spirits either. You need a vaca to someplace sunny! And Wrigs too!

aw...poor Wrigs. How's Chum doing with the whole transition? Is he still hiding in your closet for warmth? You haven't mentioned that in a while. Have things gotten better with the temperature of the house?

I was going to email you the other day, when I realized I still have your old email address. When you have a minute, send me the new one, please. How else am I gonna clog up your inbox with spam!?

I'm sorry that you are both so sad. It HAS been freakishly dark this week, and I think that those beautiful trees around you might make it feel even darker. I've been baking and cooking -- it seems to make things cozier -- and sewing, to combat the blues.
Small-town good-news flash: my next-door neighbor (the fabulous chef who catered MB's party) is opening a little bistro in Poulsbo after Christmas. I got the tour today, and it's going to be AWESOME. That's something to look forward to! God bless all of you...

*sniff sniff* seriously these were the saddest little pictures EVER! I totally heard the Sarah McLachlan commercial playing in the background!

and yes I agree with Live For Today, you do need a vacay somewhere sunny with Wrigs!

He's so fricken CUTE!! I love doggies *smile*

go to a bookstore and get lost in some "happy" books for a few hours, it might cheer you up a bit :)

P.S the book "I was told there'd be cake" is pretty funny

That commercial gets me everytime. Do you have my e-mail? I'll bury it in one of your old posts so it shows up in your inbox. I'm working on making a happy package and you I think are the most deserving of all the bloggers I know right now.

I'm in one of my funks too as if I needed to say it....

I did get my hair colored now I just have to work on shaving my legs..

Gee, you'd think that marijuana plant you have in those pictures would be enough to cheer him up.

Awwww, Wrigley!!! Can I climb through the computer and give him a hug? Sweet baby golden. That profile shot of him made me so sad for him!

I don't know what to say to make it better. I wish I knew. All I can think is that when it is gray, I sometimes feel better if I'm outside walking around instead of indoors. But, it is just too cold up there for you. Hmph.

Have you found anything of interest you and Wrigs could maybe participate in up there? We have our monthly Golden Retriever meet ups down here and that Wine Artist thing you & Tom attended with us. Just a thought...?

Miss you all. Give Wrigs a slobbery kiss from me.
