Gustav

I can't stop thinking of those in the path of the hurricane. Praying hard for minimal damage, zero loss of life and accelerated clean up.

Please take a moment to offer your prayers/thoughts

I am in Pensacola, FL and the weather is getting BAD!! We are by no means getting the worst of it, so it must be pretty scary further west!

Absolutely. I am most worried about the patients in the NICU's and PICU's in its paths... the little ones that are too tiny and sick to be evacuated.

Let's all pray....

You aren't kidding. I'm on Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach. Tropical Storm Faye just dropped about 26 inches of rain on us. Now Gustav is in the gulf and we have Hannah heading in from the Bahamas with a touch down by Friday.

If it were just me, I would pack up my car and visit my sister in Atlanta. Alas Honey has a job and mom too. I see us now..taking Mom's Conversion Van with her two cats, our cat and our two dogs..

I don't drink anymore but a bottle of xanax should get me there. I claim third row seating to myself! Mom and Honey can drive and pilot.
