...was an amazing musician. And her voice - it takes my mind and soul to another place.
Here are some favorites:
Autumn Leaves
Songbird
And this digitally enhanced duet with Katie Melua is pretty damn cool. Both voices blend so well together. Katie has stated that Eva was her inspiration for writing her very first song, a tribute to Eva.
I am in awe of such talent.

I like Butch Cassidy more.
I am still trying to figure out how to start my glob. OMG I am not kidding but I wanted to type blog and it came out glob again. My fingers have glob dyslexia.
So, starting this glob is like Mozart writing a symphony, I really want it to be good and blow away all the other globs so I am waiting for a full burst of inspiration that matches the level of expectation that has been hyped about my golb. I dont want it to suck right away you know what I mean? I need to capture the readership from the get-go. I am still thinking about the opening post. I was thinking I could start about why I like to eat desserts. mmm... lemon cake...
ok that is all, and thanks for letting me post this inane useless comment that is totally unrelated to your blog post and more suited for Facebook. I will continue to piggyback on your blog until I get mine going.
ok I am back again, I tried to post something on my glob and I can't remember how anymore :( DAGNABIT
THANK YOU for posting this. I have been trying to remember this artist for years. I listened to her CD non-stop when my grandmother died, and her voice brings me back to that time. I really love the Fields of Gold song too. That one brings tears to my eyes.
Love Fields of Gold too. And Imagine and Amazing Grace and Kathy's Song...the list goes on. A new girlfriend just introduced me to her music and I've been listening to it nonstop. Such an incredible tone to her voice. Soothing like velvet. And knowing her story, makes my eyes well up with tears when I listen.
