...and now this morning is bad again. Cramps, shakes, dizziness. Had 2 friends stay the night with me. I couldn't sleep much, maybe from the antibiotics? I'm on SMZ/TMP (Sufamethoxazole and Trimethoprim) so maybe this is a side effect. I'm bleeding quite a bit now too. It could be my cycle but it's been going on since Thursday and each day it picks up more force. Seriously men, you don't know HOW GOOD YOU HAVE IT. Back to the doctor at 3 today. I'm starting to question if this is a bladder infection now. Perhaps Tom had them hide the panty liner wrapper inside my gut after all.
"Hey, black cloud???"
"Yes."
"Scadaddle."

I'm glad you had some friends stay over there with you last night.
I am very concerned. Sounds like you have something more serious than a bladder infection to my (Web-MD surfing) mind....
Get better, girl!
These Dr's better come up with a better answer soon. This does not sound normal at all, even for an infection. Usually as soon as you start on antibiotics things will get better asap.
Laura, you really need to follow up with this. Not to alarm you, but a bladder infection that is not responding to antibiodics can cause serious kidney damage. Given your recent medical procedures and past infection I am surprised the dr. didn't keep you in the office while they tested your sample. They could have given you a megadose shot of antibiodics to give you quicker relief and start fighting the infection right away.
Also, keep sticking to your guns with the insurance. Just assume every claim is not accurate and call the ins. co. and the dr. when you receive the bill. The dr./medical facility will have to resubmit the claim and it will come back correct. I had to do this several times with all three pregnancies. I saved thousands by essentially being a pain in the ass.
Good luck!
Please update us after your doctor's appointment. I'm worried about you.
It's definitely time for our cycle. This I know. Mine just won't hurry up and come yet dammit.
Diva says to let you know she's very concerned as well. There is a picture of her concerned look on my blog.... (I believe it might coax a smile out of you....)
Hope the doc gave you a BETTER diagnosis, and some stronger antibiotics.
Glad you had friends with you but read my comment I just wrote, I put my e-mail addy on my blog just for you. Do you want me to sing you a song, tell you a story? How about a joke? Good thoughts to you!
And if you have to cry, cry, it's ok not to be strong every minute of every moment of every hour of every day..
Oh and F*ck the hospital bill thinking till you are better. They don't expect you to cough it up every time, they will work with you when you are ready. Which means when you are well.
