Of all the things Cheney does that I despise, the thing I hate the most is how he has never publicly acknowledged his appreciation and acceptance of his gay daugther's life. She has built for herself an amazing life in the midst of so much adversity.
Even though he hasn't gone so far as to publicly humiliate or disagree with her, I know too well how much it means to have a parent recognize, appreciate and accept what and who you are. It is a priceless feeling of happiness and love.
But, all of that is just scratching the surface when I think of how he's run our country roughshod from behind the scenes. And not to mention shot his buddy in the ass!
I'm with ya on this 100%. And he's always soooo angry and defensive when he speaks publicly. Not a real comforting feeling knowing that our plight as a nation is in his fumbling hands. Aside from his greed and ego, there is just something about this guy that I really dislike and don't trust. He's shady. And he's in charge! Yippeee!!
