When I came downstairs this morning this is how I found Chumley's bear...
He was sort of suspended on the stairs, all tied up and tangled in some of my yarn that Chumley had gotten into. The other end of the yarn was carried through the little kitty cut out door and then left in the middle of the kitchen. I think Chum was trying to bring the yarn into his food bowl (because he likes to bring everything into his bowl) but it didn't quite make it. I gathered up the rest of the yarn and then moved it back through the cat door to avoid another bowel obstruction with the dog. After a few minutes of puttering around in the kitchen, I heard the howls of passion and this is what I saw...
Chum had dragged the bear down the stairs to his favorite romance spot. He was spinning him around and around, even getting his back legs tangled in the yarn but that didn't stop him from doing his deed.
Though tangled, he was still very determined and extremely focused on this love mission. I really need to figure out how to download audio to this blog because the screeches and howls that were emitting from this cat defied the laws of nature. I never knew Chumley was into this kinky stuff. I felt like somewhat of a pervert myself for snapping all of these photos...
But I just couldn't resist.
After a few more twists and thrusts, Chumley escaped his web of love and casually strolled off to bask in the sun and lick a particular body part. Out of respect for Chum, I did not take a photo of this. (Ok, I did take a photo, but I promised him I wouldn't post it.)
His poor bear is not faring so well. Here enlies the aftermath...
This bear is definitely not lacking in the love department. Someone else had his way with him later in the day...
Since this bear is literally hanging on by a thread, Wrigley could easily decapitate him in all of one second. But, he's actually very respectful and just cuddles with him instead. I'm sure he enjoys the plethora of odors he emits too. He knows what Chumley does to this bear because he likes to sit and watch.
Hmmm. Now I'm starting to think that both our animals have "issues".

I never knew Chumley was such a lover. I thought he was mostly a fighter.
That cat is CRAZY!
