I watched it yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. It made me cry. I like the girl that played his little sister. I've seen her in several things lately like Shutter Island and Nurse Jackie. She's a pretty good little actress.
I think it's a good movie especially when you have no expectations about it and then being pleasantly surprised is a bonus. The sister in the movie stole every scene and is such a great actress. Possibly the next Dakota Fanning? And I thought Robert Pattinson was pretty good too. The only scene that I struggled with watching was when he broke into the board room to confront his Dad. He seemed a little over acty in that one scene but Pierce Brosnan NAILED it. He was AWESOME in that movie.
I was surprised by how much I liked it. I will readily admit I saw it out of Sheer Lust for Robert Pattison and a need to see him get more ACTION than he gets in the tween vampire dramas (sad, but true). I saw it with another middle aged mom friend who feels the EXACT same way as me (candidly, I'm sure there are MILLIONS of us...)
We were both pleasantly surprise that there was some "protein" in the script, and not just beefcake fluff.

Tracey you crack me up! I love your sheer lust for Edward! Are you going to see the new Twilight movie this week?
