Our recycle bin gets picked up every other Monday. More often than not when Tom and I are driving home on Mondays and we start to get close to our neighborhood we'll see recycle bins out at the end of a few driveways and we'll say, "Morons. Recycling is next week." (all in fun, of course) And then we realize, "Wow, everyone has their recycle bins out."
Who's the moron now.

This is one of those domestic "puzzles" that we never seem to solve: what week IS recycling?
We have a new chance to NOT be morons now, because they changed our garbage day from Friday to Monday. (Instead of mailing, emailing or calling with this info, WM put a notice IN our trash can, hanging out from under the lid!) So I have written the recycling days on the calendar for the next 2 months; after that, I suppose it's back to the moron-factor here. =)
Sometimes your blog reminds me of Seinfeld; it's about everything, and relevant to REAL life.
Oh I think you will like Mondays! That way all the weekend garbage is gone so you have a fresh start to the week. Well I guess if your week starts on Tuesday then it would be a fresh start but still you know what I mean.
XOXO!
Yes, I love looking at all of the beer/wine/booze bottles in people's bins as I drive by on recycling day and thinking, "That must have been SOME weekend!" Party on, Garth! XOXO
