practical joke & a momism

I'm playing a practical joke on Tom tonight. He gets pissed when we watch Wheel of Fortune because 99.9% of the time I guess the puzzles before he does. So tonight, my mom watched the show on central time and gave me all the answers to the puzzles so when we tune in tonight I'm going to shout out the answers to the puzzles before any letters are up. I hope I can pull it off through the whole show. He's going to get soooo mad because FOR YEARS he has wanted me to try out for that show and even signed me up for a wheel ID and during the commercial breaks when they announce the Wheel ID winner he always asks, "Is that your number? Go check. Go now!" and I say "No my number is ..." and I rattle off some nonsense numbers and letters and then he usually tells me to "Go pound sand" and then I laugh and continue to kick his butt for the rest of the show. It makes him so angry so this will be really good.

My mom also gave me the answers to Jeopardy so if I can pull off Wheel with success I may keep the winning streak going and shout out every single answer, or question, rather to that too. If I end up missing tomorrow, you'll know why.

Oh and it's been a while since I've blogged about any momisms so here's a quick one from today. This morning she called and said, "Oh that actress you like was on Regis and Kelly this morning. Molly Google- Goog- Googlehallen."

"Um, mom? Do you mean Maggie Gyllenhall?"

"Yes! Maggie! Maggie Googlehall."

One day I will be just like her. And when that happens I will no longer blog.

You are a riot. And I agree with Karyn - you can't stop blogging. You're too clever - and funny.

Maggie Googlehall. ha-ha I will never call her anything else now.
I really hope you did the jeopardy one. I would love to hear his reaction to THAT!

LOL Clippy! You're making my mom proud!

I only did the double jeopardy answers and he didn't say much. He did say "good job" a couple times when I was indisposed (redundant colon issues) and couldn't even hear the questions but still managed to shout out the answers from the bathroom. He seemed more surprised with my hearing than knowledge.

That is so funny, both the WOF and Jeopardy. Your mom is a riot!

Hilarious! You'll have to tell how the "Wheel of Fortune" "Jeopardy" shenanigans went.

(I went to H/S with a girl who went on "Wheel" and totally froze up.... she missed really easy stuff. It was embarrassing to watch...)

Your mom is adorable... I love her momisms.

AHAHAHAH, I love it! I like to jump out from corners and scare my husband. I also like to go and pound on the bathroom door when he's in the shower and doesn't know I came home. :)- And please of please keep blogging when you turn out like your Mom, LOL. My mom is wacky too, she actually believes some of those spam emails she gets. She is TOO MUCH sometimes!!

And please, of please participate in my Married Mondays. I would love to read what you have to say about your Hubs! I have the schedule on my blog. Tomorrow is the official first post!

You know, he didn't say too much other than a couple "good jobs" or "good job dope" (my nickname) but really he was pretty quiet.

In the middle of Jeopardy I had a REALLY bad tum so I spent part of the game "indisposed" but I continued to yell out the answers from the bathroom. He was surprised I could still hear the TV from in there and seemed more impressed about that than my answering all the questions. Lame.
