It has been 271 days since we've hit 75 degrees. For some I know that sounds like a dream but for those of us who have spent the last 9 months living in what feels like a never ending January of wetness and darkness, it's really not so fun.
A friend sent me this link today and said this pretty much sums up summer in Seattle. Everyone is so ready to pop at this point. At least I'm not alone.
i feel your pain! we got out and walked/rode bikes for the one hr this morning that the sun was out. then, even though we were out, it felt like night time... i hope it turns around soon b/c i can't take much more of this crappy summer...
ReplyDeleteI was transferred here in Sept 08 and my sister sent me the link to your blog back then because you were moving to Seattle. I have to wait 6 more months before I can request another move and I'm counting down the day to do so. I've never lived in a place so grey and gloomy in my life and I have lived in a lot of places before. It can really put you into a funk.
