There are 8 chakra clearings that I listen to (try to do 4 one day, then 4 the next- not everyday, maybe 2 times a week so 8 total) It is pretty powerful stuff, the sounds of the gongs alter the vibrations/energy in your body. Do some reading on it first and see what you think. I do recommend it but you have to do it without any distractions (closing my eyes helps) and really just allow yourself to be taken to another place. <br /><br />Loving the 30's: you're so cute, and I LOVE Ballard. There is a great Mexican restaurant we went to there, can't remember the name but it's super cheap, LONG wait but sooooo worth it. Do you know the one I'm talking about? And thank you for your insight. Depending who I talk to, some say this is unusual (I guess it is if we're finally breaking some records with the rain!) But then others say it typically doesn't warm up til July so who knows!?! I saw the sun for a few minutes trying so hard to break through the clouds but alas, the clouds won. :O(<br /><br />Patty: I work and volunteer at the senior center in my town which is not attached to a nursing home. There is no living facility there, the seniors are bussed in or they drive themselves or walk. I teach basic computers and a creative writing class and that has been a great outlet for me. If I was teaching high school, probably wouldn't feel the same! :O)Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17634228626032377554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37085797.post-66392772106949490312010-06-04T12:39:51.468-07:002010-06-04T12:39:51.468-07:00Nevermind my question above. Yay... I began reading your blog because a friend had linked to it and I have always loved your sunny disposition, don't give up! :-) Every 5 years or so we go through one of these crappy weather patterns but we'll make through. I'm sending you warm, happy thoughts from Ballard-hoping it will cheer me up as well!lovingthe30'shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06520006325167465169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37085797.post-3664059476414307352010-06-04T11:15:41.304-07:002010-06-04T11:15:41.304-07:00what meditations are you doing? the oil washed up ...what meditations are you doing? the oil washed up on Pensacola Beach today and my depression has set in with a vengeance. i need to try something before i end up in the looney bin.Gussiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12526249104657825936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37085797.post-31219541636327246002010-06-04T09:57:50.602-07:002010-06-04T09:57:50.602-07:00Moving isn't an option but you are right about...Moving isn't an option but you are right about visiting warmer weather places. I didn't do that at all this year and that was mistake number one. I'm an independent contractor for 2 natural products companies and a technology firm so I mostly work from home and commute around Seattle. I try to plan my sales calls on non rainy days but that hasn't been working out so well the last few weeks.Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17634228626032377554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37085797.post-52354308167031962672010-06-04T09:22:59.297-07:002010-06-04T09:22:59.297-07:00if you don't work, take time to visit nicer we...if you don't work, take time to visit nicer weather places.
