He is a genius! What a smart, kind hearted guy he is. I got some ultra violet decals for the window but I think I must have put them on wrong because it still didn't prevent those last 2 from last week from hitting the window. But so far my giant "X" signs seem to be doing the trick.Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17634228626032377554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37085797.post-79524463598759670762009-01-24T10:24:00.000-08:002009-01-24T10:24:00.000-08:00Its so horrible the birds keep doing this. My neighbors have a bird feeder that sits too close to our house and window so I think I need to kindly ask them to move it. We have to figure out something for the back window. Even after we move I don't want this to continue happening.Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17634228626032377554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37085797.post-11745622782341434102009-01-23T13:26:00.000-08:002009-01-23T13:26:00.000-08:00Maybe all these birds just want to be a part of yo...Maybe all these birds just want to be a part of your loving household? They see how well you care for and love C & W and they want some of that lovin'. Poor little birds. If I were a bird and I had to hit windows, it would be yours. I know I would be loved.

By the way, the high rises in Chicago all had decals of owls and other types of "prey" birds they stuck to the high windows to prevent birds from flying into them. From the angle they are flying, the sky may be the only reflection until they get down to an angle to be able to see the decals, and when they do, it may be too late to pull up. Does that make sense?

Maybe you can try opaque large decals that don't allow reflection on the other side. I remember seeing those owls thinking they were real because even from down on the ground the sky wouldn't reflect off the decals.

I'll be praying for the little guy.Najiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14530016194487801049noreply@blogger.com
