Either we just had an earthquake, or everyone in my neighborhood farted at once.
Check out the earthquake map. There's been a bunch here lately. I'm still waiting for this one to show up. Oh f*ck...what if it was another pipe bursting!! It sounded like a boom under my house. Holy sh*t!! That could be why the pipe burst this morning!! DUH! That makes sense! Yay for me for figuring that out right this very second.
Are you still using Firefox? I love that I have the earthquake add-on. There were several 3.0ish ones in California last night.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. I don't know why all you people in CA have not left yet.
ReplyDeleteI would go bananas worrying about Earthquakes. Are you crazy???? How do you sleep at night? aren't you always worried?
Oh, I gotta go check and make sure all my hurricane supplies are good.
Suz, my mom says the same thing all the time and is sooo worried and all I can say is that if I had the choice I would NEVER leave because it is sooo worth it to experience the paradise of living here. I would go down smiling in the rubble because I have been the happiest I've ever been in my LIFE being out here. It feels like a natural high when you're out and about (except for today's f*cking June Gloom!) But had I not experienced living here, I probably would have said the same thing to friends and family who live in CA because I would worry for their safety. The risk of getting sucked into the earth is worth it for the 300+ days of absolute PURE BLISS. I will say the China quake was sort of a wake up call for people out here but then again, no one's moving. Just makes you appreciate the days you have even more.
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Suz, I just re-read your comment. Too funny.
